Apply the following Steps
Apply Patient Benefit Increased Adjustment for the insuranceinstallment plan: Increasing the insuranceledger with an additional $118 invoice, This adjustment reduces the patient's responsibility by $118, and the system automatically moves this amount to the patient's wallet since the patient has already paid.
Make Payment from Insurance WalletLedger: Use the $118 in the insurancewallet ledger to pay off the new $118 invoice in the insurance ledger, bringing both the insurance ledger and insurancewallet ledger to zero.
Refund the Patient: Refund the $118 from the patient's wallet ledger to the patient, zeroing out the patient's wallet ledger.
After completing these steps, all ledgers (patient, insurance, wallet) will be balanced to zero. This process ensures that the $118 is correctly refunded to the patient after clearing the insurance payment.
